Welcome to the Cats Forum! It is the ideal place for you to ask questions, share your knowledge with others, discuss the glories and the agonies of being "owned" by a cat and to meet other cat aficionados.
You may want to discuss declawing, feral cats, spay and neuter, cat breeds, or current events in the cat world, for example. Any cat related topic is appropriate here. If you have questions about any aspect of "cat management", don't be afraid to ask. Remember, the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask. This is *your* bulletin board, so use it well!

- Q. What topics can be discussed?A. The Forums are intended to be a meeting place where you can discuss anything you want in relation to cats. Questions and discussions about any topic related to cats are appropriate.
- Q. Are there rules of behavior?A. Yes. People using the Forums should treat others with respect. I expect debate and sometimes heated discussion of many topics, but those discussions must remain civil. If you're tempted to flame someone, keep in mind that this site is used by people of all ages. In order for it to remain a site that everyone can use, posts that use offensive language will be removed. People who routinely make such posts will face loss of board privileges.
- Q. May I promote my product or cat-related web site here?A. Although we encourage people to share helpful URLs with other members, visiting these Forums with the exclusive intent of spamming or promoting other forums and web sites will also lose board privileges immediately. Spamming is rude. Please respect your Host and the About Site that hosts these forums. You may, of course, make your personal URL part of your "signature," but please do not place commercial posts on the forum.
- Q. Can I copy and paste interesting information, i.e., articles, poems, photos, cartoons, or news clippings to share with other forum members?A. A. We ask that you respect copyright laws when posting to our forums. Generally, you may C/P a short quote, or a line or two from an article. However, quoting an entire piece without explicit permission of the owner is a copyright violation, even when "credit" is given, and the post will be deleted. Also, posting graphics taken from other sites without the express permission of the owner, is a violation. Instead, post the URL where the material can be found, with a short quote or synopsis.
- Q. How can I add photos to my signature?A. The "Helpful FAQs and Forum Rules folder on the forum is dedicated to providing helpful tips for members. It contains complete instructions for creating photo signatures, Forum Rules, a Forum Glossary, and other useful information.
- Q. How can I change my user name? I'm having problems logging on. I've forgotten my password.A. Please visit the Help Center for help with these problems.
- Q. Is this a "child-safe" bulletin board?A. No. Although an effort will be made to keep posts on-topic and to remove offensive posts, no one will be monitoring the board on a 24-hour basis. The forum will be used by people of all ages with an interest in cats. We encourage parents to play an active roll in their children's online usage, and that includes this forum.
